We visited Santiago, Chile, from Tuesday, March 1 until Sunday, March 6, 2016.  We stayed in a high-rise apartment where the traffic noise from the streets below was so intense that we slept with earplugs.  But strangely enough we slept very well!

We really enjoyed Santiago.  It is a modern, vibrant city, interspersed with hills affording views, and to the east the Andes Mountains rise up majestically.

This is is a city well worth visiting!
