Letting Go…

Brian and Frank 600 px“Anything you cannot relinquish when it has outlived its usefulness possesses you, and in this materialistic age a great many of us are possessed by our possessions.”  Peace Pilgrim

Sitting in our front room one afternoon, I looked around the house and knew that I could walk out and leave everything behind, not my family, but the possessions that had served us up until that point.

The kids are launched and happy.   Living in a house large enough for raising kids is not important now.

My marriage with Frank is solid, and after seventeen years together our love is still growing stronger.  We love to travel together because we both enjoy spending time together.  The more the better.

How about we let go of all of this stuff and see what adventures we might find?  What people we might  meet.  Let’s let go and live in the moment.

  1. LOVE what the two of you are undertaking. I’ve enjoyed reading your blogs since you left town but haven’t had the time to register my delight. You know, if you don’t do it now, you NEVER will. There’s never been a better time than now to follow your heart. You’re both learning so many valuable life lessons in your letting go, preparations, and executions in following your heart. GO FOR IT! I’m so excited about your journey and hope that we can meet up somewhere as our planets orbit close to each other. MUCH LOVE,

    Fred and Philip
